Earlier Tuesday on Fox News, MAGA Queen Maria Bartiromo and Trump Interior Secretary Doug Burgum were discussing the complaints against building massive data centers that demand high outputs of electricity when the host attacked Pope Leo for having an opinion on artificial intelligence.

Electricity needs for these massive data centers are polarizing the country because of high water supplies needed, increase in pollution and noise ,while at the same time raising utility bills on consumers.

Burgum claimed it was foreign interlopers spreading propaganda against these massive data centers that was causing the friction and that's when Maria piped in about Pope Leo.

MARIA: Secretary, even Pope Leo this weekend, issuing a major document Monday, focused largely on the implications of the rise of artificial intelligence.

The Pope saying that this technology could make civilization less human. Why is the Pope commenting about AI right now.

To Maria, or any disagreement or complaint against Donald Trump or his administration by anyone that has a platform is an assault on him personally.

The Trump administration is moving to force every federal employee in the country to sign a nondisclosure agreement — a sweeping crackdown on leaks that critics say could silence government workers for good. But for Donald Trump, silencing people with NDAs is nothing new.

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management posted a draft notice Tuesday that would bar federal workers from sharing a wide array of "non-public, confidential, or proprietary information" or "any sensitive, pre-decisional or deliberative material" not already available to the public. The rule goes well beyond typical classified and unclassified designations.

The notice will be published on Wednesday and remain open for a 30-day public comment period.

OPM cited several high-profile leaks to justify the move, including what it called "unauthorized disclosures" made to the New York Times and The Washington Post about a U.S. raid in January that captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. The administration claimed the leaks "put the lives of members of the armed forces at risk, leading news organizations to delay 'publishing what they knew to avoid endangering U.S. troops.'"

Texas Republicans headed to the polls Tuesday in a make-or-break Senate runoff — and for at least one voter, President Donald Trump's endorsement didn't seal the deal. It backfired.

CNN caught up with two Republican voters outside a Plano polling location on Election Day, and their reactions to Trump's last-minute backing of Attorney General Ken Paxton told two very different stories about the state of the GOP.

The first voter said Trump's endorsement was the deciding factor — pushing him away from Sen. John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, and toward Paxton. "I was torn because I was gonna go with Cornyn," he said. "But when Trump backed [Paxton] — I like who he backs."

The second voter went the other way entirely.

"I made one vote, and that was for Cornyn," he told CNN's Arlette Saenz. "Primarily because he's not supported by Trump."

When Saenz pressed him, he didn't mince words. "I think he's ruined my Republican party," he said of Trump. "I think he's divided America. I think he's bad news. And I still lean Republican, so I voted for Cornyn."

NOTUS White House reporter Jasmine Wright, appearing on CNN, said the exchange captured a split that's playing out statewide. "You're literally seeing the 80-20, 70-30 split that we see represented in polling," she said, adding that the White House is banking on the majority holding. "This question that we continue to ask — whether or not Trump still holds a vice grip on the Republican Party — continues to show us yes, yes, and yes."

Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) told USA Today that he was pepper sprayed outside ICE’s Delaney Hall detention center, in Newark, N.J. when ICE agents escalated against protesters outside.

Kim said he was able to enter the ICE detention center on Monday after he “personally called” Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin to “get his intervention.” New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill had been refused entry.

Detainees have reportedly been on a hunger strike over inhumane conditions at the privately-run facility. Kim said detainees inside told him of “just the inhumane conditions, the lack of medical care,” NJ.com reported. “The senator recalled talking to a woman who had a miscarriage inside the facility but was ‘not given any medical support,’ among other horror stories.” Kim also said that many were nonviolent asylum seekers, not the violent criminals the Trump administration has tried to depict them as.

Senate Republicans are bracing for an expensive general election in Texas as the state’s scandal-plagued attorney general positions himself to push out four-term incumbent Sen. John Cornyn.

Cornyn faces Ken Paxton in a primary runoff Tuesday, with public polling favoring Paxton. Senate Republicans have fervently backed Cornyn in the primary, saying he would be easier to defend in a general election against the Democratic nominee, state Rep. James Talarico.

Paxton has faced allegations of corruption, financial malfeasance and infidelity. He has also struggled to keep up with Cornyn or Talarico — both prodigious fundraisers — in raising money. Cornyn asserts that Senate Republicans would have to divert essential cash from other competitive races to propel Paxton if he became the nominee.

“It would be hundreds of millions of dollars, and there’s still a good chance he would lose,” Cornyn told supporters Thursday at a campaign stop in Houston.

Bad-mouthing the presumptive Democratic nominee in a Senate seat that the Democrats absolutely need to gain control of the U.S. Senate is beyond stupid. Still, it's always worth reminding ourselves that Republicans don't have a monopoly on stupid politicians. Almost, but not quite.

Rep. Jake Auchincloss (D-MA) trashed his party’s presumptive nominee for U.S. Senate in Maine, Graham Platner, on Monday, calling the Democratic candidate’s Nazi tattoo scandal and his claims about it “personally disqualifying.”

The controversy stems from a report last year that Platner had a tattoo on his chest of a Nazi SS “Totenkopf” symbol. Platner has since covered the tattoo and denied knowingly displaying Nazi imagery, saying he got the tattoo with fellow Marines during a trip to Croatia in 2007 and did not understand its meaning at the time.

Auchincloss had previously become one of the first elected Democrats to publicly urge Platner to abandon the Senate contest against incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) after the tattoo controversy surfaced.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is once again going viral for an animal encounter — this time getting bitten repeatedly by snakes at the home of his subordinate, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz, as his wife, actress Cheryl Hines, pleaded with him to stop.

Kennedy posted the video to his X account Monday morning with a casual caption: "Cheryl cheerleads the removal of a pair of Black Racers from Dr. Oz's patio."

The clip shows Kennedy picking up the two snakes — which appear to be in the middle of mating — and walking around with them as they bite him repeatedly. Hines can be heard begging her husband to let them go.

"Moccasins. Those are dangerous!" Hines shouts in the video.

"No, they're not moccasins," Kennedy calmly replies — correctly, as Black Racers are non-venomous — even as the snakes clamp down on him.

"Are they biting?" Oz asks.

"Yeah," Kennedy says.

The exchange only escalates from there.

"Jesus, their mouths are huge," Kennedy remarks as Hines dissolves into panic.

"Bobby! Bobby! Please!" she cries.

Thomas Massie filed on Monday to run for his Kentucky House seat in 2028, less than a week after losing a primary fight against a challenger backed by Trump.

Massie became the latest victim of Trump’s revenge tour last week when former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein successfully ousted him in a primary that shattered electoral spending records.

Trump repeatedly railed against Massie, who has broken with the president on several high-profile issues in recent months, including the U.S. and Israel’s war against Iran. Massie also helped lead the congressional effort to force Trump to release the federal government’s files on deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Advertising spending in his primary fight — the most expensive on record — surpassed $32 million as pro-Israel interest groups poured millions into the effort to unseat Massie, who has been an outspoken critic of Israel during his time in Congress.

Risk Of Explosion Eliminated In Toxic Gas Leak --For Now

The threat of a possible explosion from a failing chemical tank in Orange County exploding has been eliminated following an overnight operation, California fire officials say. Division Chief Craig Covey said yesterday that the tank's temperature has decreased, which led to the "positive news".

The tank, which contains thousands of gallons of methyl methacrylate - a highly volatile and flammable substance used to make plastic - has been at risk of either a major spillage or an explosion in recent days.

There is currently no active leak, but crews have been working since Sunday to assess the risk. A leak remains a possible outcome, officials have said, as an evacuation order for the area remains in place. The damaged chemical tank in southern California cracked over the weekend, and officials were hopeful pressure that had built up inside the tank would be gradually released.

The threat of a BLEVE, or Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion, has been "eliminated" after an overnight operation, Orange County Fire Authority Interim Chief TJ McGovern said yesterday.

Tens of thousands of residents in parts of Orange County, California, were under evacuation orders after a gas tank with toxic chemicals leaked, and a fire official said it could explode.

Many who watched the livestream of the event noted that Trump was apparently "sleeping" as Pete Hegseth was speaking at the event. Videos of Trump standing with his eyes closed for an extended period of time went viral on social media, especially amid reports of the 79-year-old's disrupted sleep cycle.

It sparked even more speculation as it came just a day before Trump is set to visit the Walter Reed hospital in Maryland on Tuesday for his annual health check-up.

On this day in 1897 Dracula by Bram Stoker was published by London’s Archibald Constable and Company. The iconic gothic horror novel was originally written to read like an actual account of true events However, in wake of the Jack the Ripper murders, the publisher feared Stoker's original version would incite public hysteria, so first 101 pages were cut, and thousands of editorial alterations were made before publication. The original typewritten manuscript and surviving publishing agreement, dated May 25, 1897, were titled The Un-Dead. The title was changed to Dracula at the very last minute. The surviving 541-page original typescript -- minus the opening pages -- was later discovered in a Pennsylvania barn and is now owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. And although Dracula established the modern vampire mythos and spawned a global literary legacy, the book failed to establish Stoker’s critical reputation during his lifetime and earned him very little money.

Hawaii Passes State Law Circumventing Citizens United

Hawaii took a bold and necessary step to try to undermine the Citizens United ruling, which has flooded the country with dark-money campaign contributions.

The governor just signed a bill into law "that would redefine corporations in a way that precludes spending on elections."

CAP, "S.B. 2471—a bill under which Hawaii would no longer grant artificial entities, including corporations, the power to spend in Hawaii’s politics—has passed both chambers with overwhelming bipartisan support. It is in conference committee now, one step away from Gov. Josh Green’s (D) desk."

"The bill redefines the powers Hawaii grants to the corporations that operate within the state. It does not regulate what corporations say. It does not regulate what they spend. It defines what powers they have in the first place—and the powers Hawaii grants would no longer include the power to spend in Hawaii’s politics."

14 other states, including Montana, are drafting versions of SB 2471. The lone dissenting vote was concerned that it would be too costly to defend in court, since lawsuits are coming.

Of course lawsuits will follow, but the idea is sound.

Northampton County Residents Turn Out To Stop $5B Data Center

A proposed data center expected to cost more than $5 billion ran into intense resistance Thursday night in rural Pennsylvania, where residents packed a town hall meeting and delivered a clear message: They do not want their farmland and community identity sacrificed for a largely undefined mega-project.

During a three-hour informational session at Bangor Area Middle School, residents of Lower Mount Bethel Township voiced overwhelming opposition to the proposed Lower Mount Bethel Tech Center, according to WFMZ-TV. The event was organized by the project's major stakeholders, including Peron Development and J.G. Petrucci Co., rather than township leaders.

Developers described the proposal as a 1.2-gigawatt data center planned for a 450-acre site, with a projected cost exceeding $5 billion. They said the project could generate 500 full-time jobs, hundreds of construction positions, and about $7 million to $8 million in annual tax revenue for the township.

Still, major questions remain unanswered. Developers did not explain how many buildings the campus would include, how large those structures would be, or how they would be laid out across the property. There is also no confirmed end-user for the facility.

Sen Ron Johnson (MAGA-Moscow) sat down for an interview with the misnamed Real America's Voice.

The conversation turned to Trump putting pressure on Senate Leader John Thune to fire Senate Parliamentarian Elizabeth McDonough after she ruled that adding the Epstein Ballroom to a reconciliation bill was not allowed. To everyone's surprise, RoJo did not defend Trump or his behavior and said, " We added that extraneous item, and now that becomes controversial. The problem isn't the parliamentarian."

But RoJo wasn't done surprising people yet:

"The president's got to do a better job of convincing reluctant Republicans that this is what's going to happen," Johnson said.

His sharpest words were aimed at Trump's hardball tactics with holdouts in the GOP conference.

"Don't be such a pugilist. Don't be beating up on people," Johnson said. "Go and talk to people. Reason with them. Sell them on the concept. Win them over. You're not going to do it through pressure and ripping into people. That's just not a good way to sell."

Now, before you think that RoJo is just a rebel now, he was quick to point out that he fully agrees with Trump that they need to end the filibuster so they can pass their fascist agenda items like ending the filibuster, the SAVE Act, etc.

California Chemical Explosion Could Reach Arizona, Expert Warns

For days, officials in Garden Grove, California, have warned a chemical plant is “literally on the edge of exploding” as firefighters work to cool a tank filled with about 7,000 gallons of methyl methacrylate, a toxic chemical used in making plastics. Garden Grove is about 350 miles west of Phoenix and roughly 250 miles from Yuma.

Fire crews have been working through the weekend, using sprinklers and hose lines to cool the tank and reduce pressure. Officials said Sunday morning that an overnight operation provided new information that allowed them to adjust their strategy. Crews also identified what officials described as a potential crack that could relieve some of the pressure building inside the tank, but they said the situation still remains dangerous.

Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency in Orange County, prompting the evacuation of thousands of residents and leaving the area around the plant largely empty.

Local environmental disaster expert Steve Brittle said any impacts beyond Southern California would depend on wind conditions, but he said chemical fumes could potentially reach Arizona.

Nothing Says 'Solemn Remembrance' Like Trump Taking A Swipe At 'Dumocrats'

Donald J. Trump took a minute on Truth Social to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day — especially the "Dumocrats," because nothing honors fallen soldiers quite like a partisan jab in the opening sentence.

Trump acknowledged those who made the ultimate sacrifice, but, as usual on holidays, it was neatly sandwiched between political shade and a reminder that the military has allegedly had, like, tremendous success this past year (presumably thanks to him).

"Happy Memorial Day to all, including the Dumocrats, who disrespect our Military and all of the tremendous success that it has had over the last year," Trump wrote. "God Bless those that have made the ultimate sacrifice. I love you all! President DONALD J. TRUMP"

The Commander in Chief somehow doesn't know that saying "Happy Memorial Day" is generally frowned upon. The holiday is a solemn day of remembrance for fallen military personnel, not a celebration. We shouldn't have to point that out, but here we are, seemingly in a segment of Idiocracy.

Trump, of course, signed off with his own full name and title, because on a day meant to remember the dead, he wants everyone to know who wrote that hot mess. Truly a masterclass in making a solemn national holiday about himself.

Lindell Eyes Trump's Sedition Slush Fund

Mike Lindell, the MyPillow Guy, has announced he will file a claim with the Trump sedition fund. Lindell said that he had three separate companies - although he does not name the companies or what kind of business they are in -look into MyPillow's finances, and that all three said that MyPillow had averaged about $400 million in damages, including loss of sales, boycotts, debanking, and brand damage.

The legal eagles at Law & Crime looked into Lindell's claims and found that Lindell was blaming Operation Arctic Frost, the probe into the people and companies who funded the January 6 insurrection. Lindell claimed that Arctic Frost was why the FBI seized Lindell's cellphone at a Hardee's restaurant.

Law & Crime dove deeper and found that Lindell used that excuse in a filing for a court case where FedEx is suing him for failing to pay for their services:

Pushing back in court, Lindell denied knowingly making false statements and claimed to have discovered that MyPillow's at-one-time "inexplicable financial reversals" were "triggered as a result of Operation Arctic Frost, which had targeted My Pillow."

Massie made an appearance on this Sunday's Meet the Press, and was asked by Kristen Welker whether he was planning on releasing more names on the House floor from the Epstein files, and Massie responded that he was.

Tillis Compares Paxton Ethics Scandal To Dahmer's 'Diet Problems'

Sen. Thom Tillis took apart Trump's endorsement of Ken Paxton in Texas by making one comparison that undoes any right wing propaganda in support of Paxton that Trump and his allies put forth.

Sen. Tillis joined Jake Tapper on CNN and was asked how he felt when Trump called him a RINO and then endorsed the highly controversial and corrupt Ken Paxton over longtime Republican incumbent John Cornyn.

TILLIS: Well, number one, I hate that Bill Cassidy lost. He's a great American, great senator, and I still look forward to working with him through the remaining tenure, our tenure here, in the U.S. Senate, Cornyn the same thing.

And to call Paxton ethically challenged is to call Jeffrey Dahmer suffering from an eating disorder. This guy is an empty suit and will do us no service by being in the U.S. Congress. Bootlicker of the House Jebus Johnson went on one of the Trump state TV networks, Fox, to try to sell the idea that the Republicans are all keyed up to win the midterm elections on kitchen table issues:

Yeah, it's a big thing. Obviously, we've done a lot of work. The big beautiful bill, the working families tax cut, all of our legislation has been geared towards the cost of living, affordability, and bringing the cost of living down. We put all those conditions in place in the economy to let it take off like a rocket, and we were doing that at the beginning of the 1st quarter, when the Iran skirmish began.

So when this settles out, gas prices come back down. To earth, that means your grocery prices come down again because of transport costs and all the rest. It's going to be a big factor. The kitchen table issues are going to decide the midterms.

Johnson kept talking out of his ass about how they have better candidates, better fundraising, and all sorts of bullshit.

It's safe to say that the biggest kitchen table issue is why the kitchen table is so bare, since people can't afford the gas to drive to the grocery store to buy the food that they also can't afford. Even Fox polls say that Johnson is full of shit:
